The interactive lessons started in the classroom where students were briefed upon every aspect of school bus protocol and safety measures including staying in their seat, using seat belts, not eating or drinking while on the bus and being respectful to others and their school bus driver. The lessons then continued onto the school buses where students received additional hands on lessons about safety rules including standing back a safe distance from the bus and lining up away from the street as the bus approaches, and using the handrail as students safely board and disembark the bus.
