United States Congressman Peter King visited the Reed Middle School on January 28th where students in Mr. Patrick Murphy's 8th Grade Honors Social Studies Class interviewed the Congressman and learned more about the workings of the U.S. Government. Following the students' Q & A, District Officials and the Congressman convened to a roundtable meeting where they discussed educational initiatives in the Central Islip School District, federal funding for the District and a bill Congressman King is co-sponsoring with his Democrat counterpart, Representative Tom Suozzi, that, if passed, would offer greater fiscal relief for Long Island homeowners.
