Remembering 9/11

Administrators, faculty, staff and students observed September 11, 2001 during somber moments of silence in each of our schools. Lessons of the tragic events that shocked the United States eighteen years ago on 9/11 are given to students so that we, as a Nation, never forget those whose lives were lost and how America arose from the ashes of one of our country's darkest days to become stronger and more patriotic.

Pictured with the assistance of Alfano Elementary School Principal Leila Holmes and Alfano Elementary School Assistant Principal Carmen Vazquez are students reading age-appropriate poetry on 9/11 during the daily morning announcements: Armani Martinez, Jason Torres, Aliya Randolph, Liana De Biassi, Daniela Urrutia, Emely Arias and Cristoffer Fuentes Sandoval.
