Commenting on her latest appointment, Ms. Iafrate stated: I am excited and thankful to take on this new role and support the Superintendent's Vision for the District. As an educator, there is nothing more rewarding than when you're able to spur a child's excitement to learn and watch them light up with understanding. As Principal, I always tried to seize upon our teachers' individual strengths and play a supporting role in a school of educational leaders. It has been a privilege to have that impact on students and staff. As always, I will move forward to ensure that the students are always at the center of every decision I make.

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, acknowledged Ms. Iafrate's appointment, noting, Ms. Iafrate's credentials, work ethic, and high level of professionalism make her an excellent choice to serve as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. I am confident that she will bring strong leadership and a standard of excellence to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction. Please join me in congratulating Ms. Iafrate as we welcome her to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction.
